When Joël Larribe created Saveurs D'Ouranie in Green walnut, his intention was to re create a traditional recipe for walnut wine made by his grandmother, for today's tastes.

Due to his unique method of extraction, the full force of the green walnut flavour hits your palate.
The walnuts are picked in the traditional region, thus benefiting from the AOC « noix du Périgord »: in the Correze, Lot and the Dordogne.

Fabrication

The method employed is traditional and absolutely no colouring is employed.
The aperitif is made from green walnuts which have been macerated in wine from muscat from Alexandrie and grenache noir from Roussillon, walnut leaves and aromates (bourbon vanilla pods and green tea).

Although descended from a long regional tradition, Walnut Saveurs D'Ouranie is considered to be an authentic and unique new product amongst aperitifs.

Tasting

You can enjoy Walnut Saveurs D'Ouranie as an aperitif but also as a dessert, a topping for cakes and for walnut iced soufflés....

Cooking, Walnut Saveurs D'Ouranie can be used to deglaze foie gras, red and white meat...

Ingredients: wine, green walnuts, sugar, vanilla, aromatic plants, caramel

To be served at a temperature of between 8° to 10 °C and refrigerated after opening. 750ml-13,5% VOL.
